In 1948, a nine year old boy and his family relocated from Illinois to what was once the tiny town of Nampa, Idaho. The following year they moved to a little farmhouse on McDermott Road. That little boy, Dave Ferguson, grew up working the land together with his parents and four siblings. Many years later, Dave befriended Dennis Durrant, and came to be one of his most loved and influential friends. The Durrant children grew up with Dave as an example of integrity, kindness, intelligence, and strength. He passed away in 2020, and while he is sorely missed, his memory lives on in the beauty of the beloved farm from his childhood that is now aptly named Ferguson Farm.
